Myles Chapman
Founder
Chapman is a proud Colorado native with a deep passion for creating meaningful change in his community. Motivated by the lack of visibility and support for HBCU students in his home state, he founded Colorado HBCU Connect—an initiative aimed at building community, providing resources, and increasing representation for Colorado students attending Historically Black Colleges and Universities. With no HBCUs located in Colorado, Chapman saw a critical gap and stepped up to fill it, driven by a lifelong admiration for the legacy and power of HBCUs.
Currently, he is a sophomore political science major at the all-male, historically Black Morehouse College in Atlanta—a place that has helped him further develop his voice, values, and vision. Passionate about advocacy, storytelling, and equity, Chapman hopes to pursue a career in public policy, law, nonprofit leadership, or media. His ultimate goal is to amplify the voices of marginalized communities, especially those within the Black LGBTQ+ community, and to ensure they are seen, heard, and empowered.
