Bria Sykes is a proud alumna of Howard University and a current graduate student at Morgan State University, where she continues to deepen her commitment to education, community building and HBCU legacy preservation. With a passion for uplifting Black excellence and cultivating strong intergenerational networks, Bria is focused on fostering meaningful connections among HBCU alumni throughout Colorado.

Her work is rooted in the belief that HBCUs are more than institutions—they are cultural anchors, catalysts for social change, and incubators of Black leadership. Whether she’s leading strategy for an alumni network, facilitating dialogue on educational equity, or volunteering in local outreach projects, Bria brings both heart and intention to everything she does.

Deeply grounded in service and advocacy, Bria is committed to amplifying the voices and contributions of HBCU graduates while building a pipeline of support for future generations. Her dedication makes her not only a powerful connector—but a force for unity, growth, and purpose within the HBCU diaspora in Colorado and beyond.
